The project proposed by the Village panchayat Assolda- Quepem, was a successful execution of procurement of the Garbage Collection Vehicle of model TATA Intra. The proposal was sanctioned for the Governing Council Meeting of the South Goa District Mineral Foundation (Trust) held on 20 October 2022. The vehicle got the sanction for 8.127 Lakhs and on 27/05/2023 the vehicle was officially iaugrated by the VP Assolda in Presence of Shri. Nilesh Cabral (MLA- Curchorem Constituency). Assolda has total population of 4320 people benefiting from this vehicle with households counting to 1327. The average collection of Garbage happens over the period of a month is approximately 1300 tons.
