The Fire and Emergency Department, with support from the North Goa District Mineral Foundation (Trust), received two quick response vehicles along with essentials. Since their deployment at the fire stations viz, Bicholim, Mapusa and Valpoi. these vehicles have significantly improved response time to emergencies. Over the years, they have been used in more than 300 emergency calls, assisting in fire incidents, roadblocks caused by fallen trees, and flood rescue operations in mining-affected areas. Additionally, the vehicles were also kept on standby to support emergency response services during the National Games, further ensuring public safety. Their presence continues to provide timely assistance and relief to affected communities, making disaster management efforts more efficient and impactful.
