The North Goa District Mineral Foundation (NGDMF) provided funding for cochlear implants for two
hearing-impaired students from Bicholim and Mapusa, transforming their lives by restoring their ability to hear. This initiative has played a crucial role in enhancing their speech and communication skills, allowing them to engage more effectively in learning and social interactions. With access to sound, these students can now actively participate in classroom activities, improving their academic performance and self-confidence. The DMF’s support has not only empowered the children but also brought immense relief to their families, ensuring a brighter future with greater educational and social opportunities.
